Academic Integrity
The Texas State Academic Honor Code applies to all Texas State students, including correspondence students. The Honor Code serves as an affirmation that the University demands the highest standard of integrity in all actions related to the academic community. As stated in the Texas State Student Handbook, Violation of the Honor Code includes, but is not limited to, cheating on an examination or other academic work, plagiarism, collusion, and the abuse of resource materials.

ID Services
ID Services provides enrolled Texas State students with the Texas State BobcatCard, which is the university’s official identification card. Current semester-paid students can obtain a first-time BobcatCard by visiting ID Services in LBJ Student Center, Room 2-9.1, in San Marcos A government-issued photo identification is required to obtain a first-time BobcatCard. Distance education students who are not able to come to the Texas State campus in San Marcos or Round Rock may obtain a paper, temporary ID card, to expire at the end of the semester in which they are enrolled, by contacting ID Services at 512.245.2297 or idservices@txstate.edu.
