Function:
The Admission Standards Committee reviews, studies, and recommends changes to the undergraduate admissions policy. The committee communicates its recommendations to the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management, the Vice President of TXST Global, the Provost and the Council of Academic Deans.

Function:
This committee is responsible for general coordination and oversight of the class schedule and teaching theatres. This committee monitors and oversees classroom and teaching theater scheduling to ensure schedule coherence and course accessibility and aids in efficient classroom utilization. Any exceptions to the uniform class schedule are also reviewed by this committee. Committee meets as needed.

Function:
Reviews studies and recommends policies regarding need-based financial aid. The Committee advises and recommends broad policies and procedures to the University Council for awarding financial aid and gives the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing, and the Director of Financial Aid and Scholarships advice as needed. The Committee, which is authorized by the institution's administration to grant a scholarship that permits a waiver of nonresident tuition, makes decisions about selected scholarship awards and serves as the final body for appeals pertaining to financial aid eligibility and athletic scholarships.

Recommends changes or enhancements to registration-related activities to the Associate Vice President and the Provost. The committee also proposes future academic calendars for approval. The committee meets approximately one week following the census date of the spring, second summer, and fall semesters. The committee may be called for additional meetings as required.
